Hola,

Gauge lights are out on 2002 GT. Just the speedometer, etc lights above the steering wheel. I checked the fuse on the left side of the dashboard for the gauges according to the placement given in the owner's manual, and it wasn't blown. Swapped it out with another of the same kind from a different system and no change - dash still dark and other system still worked...Any ideas?

Have you tested your electrical system for shorts? Go down to radio shack and buy a multimeter for like 15 bucks and see if you cant find any wires that don't have the correct current.

So your instrument cluster (the speedomter, tachometer etc) lights are burnt off? or are your other interior lights off as well, like the ac lighting or the center console light in front of the shift?

This happened to me when I was changing out some lights and I blew a fuse, but it wasn't the one shown in the manual. I ended up checking all my fuses and it turned out to be a fuse inside the engine compartment fuse box fried, it was weird but I changed it and the lights came back on.

Try checking all your fuses inside the cabin and the fuse box in the engine.
