Or they never plugged the sensor back in. that will also send a warning to the computer. :wacko:
Unfortuantely, most bodyshops will not have a computer that will read, or turn of the SRS light in late model cars. You usually have to go to the dealer for that.
in my stealth (3000GT) the SRS light comes on if you turn the car on with out a sensor, or airbag plugged in. it will STAY on until the dealer resets it, even if you plug it back in or get a new sensor.
they can also plug a computer in, and it will tell them where it sees the fault. (ie: sensor, or what not.)
usually runs 65-75 bucks for diagnostic and turn off.
