I have just bought a Shogun Sport 3.0V6 Auto Dual Fuel which is great cos i'm paying only 32p per litre, but it seems a bit quirky when filling. sometimes I can get 60 - 70 litres in and others only 40-50 litres (when filling from empty). Does anyone know if this is normal or do I have a problem with the LPG tank?

Hi mate.
This sounds like the Gas regulator/pressure valve is not working proply.
Have a gas fitter look at it asap mate.
Cheers racoon.

sounds just about right, been using LPG for several years now in the UK, the amount of gas you can put in varries from station to station, depending on what their pumps top out at, also it will depend upon the ambient temperature, i.e in the winter I can on get 75 ish litres in the 100 litre tank, in the summer, I can almost top it out at 90 - 95 litres of gas from empty. On this subject you may also find that like me I have done the impossible and managed to sqeeze over 100 litres in to a 100 litre tank !!, this I Know is down to crap gas meters on the pumps, which I have raised with Shell Uk, who informed me they would look in to it and her you are sir, have a £20 voucher.......... In other words don't rely on what the pump is telling you !!
