The other morning I started my car and let it run for a little while like I usually do. When I got in it again go to leave I noticed it smelled a little rich so I rev'd it a little to back up and noticed a a little cloud of smoke come out......I was a little confused so I rev'd it again to see if it was just the exhaust steam stuff that comes out when its really cold outside but another cloud of white smoke came out. I found it really weird that my car did that, it's never done it before, I thought it was just some bad gas or something because it stopped doing that after about half a mile. Any suggestions on what it might be?

white smoke is caused by the by-product of gasoline and oxygen its vapor. nothing wrong with the car. blue smoke is oil, black smoke is a rich mix of gas& oxygen. if you're head gasket is gone then its a costly fix

Nope no lights have come on and the oil is good, I changed it about a month ago. The smoke that was comming out wasn't the vapor that usually comes out when it's cold outside it was smoke, you could smell that it was smoke and it stayed in the air longer than vapor. Nothing sounds funny or makes noise when I'm driving around.

also check your antifreeze level and color just to make sure your not getting any blowby

your 02 sensor could be getting weak or mabe you got bad gas but you didnt see a distinct color from your exhaust?

From what I could tell it was white, not blue or black. Thats why I figured it was just some cheap gas from somewhere. My antifreeze is a tad low but could that be causing something like that?
