there are a couple of guys in Florida who are running turboed with the sportstronic. most notably, Russ Sanderlin (Tearstone) has been running 8psi on the v6 sporty for about 9 months now with no problems. There is another guy been running 12psi on the v6 sporty and he hasn't noted any problems with the tranny yet.

there are a couple of 4cyl guys running 20+psi on the stock sporty and it only slips when they are really getting on it. normal day to day driving hasn't been affected yet.

nobody really knows the answer yet. there are a couple of guys who are pushing the envelope to see how much it can handle but there are no definite estimates right now.

yeah could probably get a decent turbo for $300 but there is ALOT more to a turbo kit than just the turbo.

i created this pinned topic for this exact question.

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t10086-up...-for-the-3g.htm

there are no electronics that you need for a non-turbo.

you can get an SAFC if you want the digital readout of the RPMs. i don't know of anything that will give you a digital readout of the MPH. you could probably find some device on www.google.com that could do that for you.

read the link that i gave you if you are looking for parts. i have covered pretty much everything that is useful for the 3G.
