It could very well do all of that stuff.
I wouldn't count on monitoring all of those variables, unless you know that your car is equipt with those sensors.
the 3000GTs for instance measure air with a mass airflow sensor, a temp sensor, and a barometric pressure. No pressure sensor, thus no way to log it. (manifold pressure)
You ECU sees all that stuff, and can send it to the data port. that's what you read when using a scanner or a logger.
It actually sounds like a way for paranoid parents to watch there kids speed, or log stuff in an accident, or maybe for people trying to squeeze out the best possible fuel economy.
It looks like you put that on, and run the car, then take it out and plug it into the computer.
Not very useful for tuning, because it's not real time. It may help diagnose a problem with the car, but again, unless you can watch it in real time, not incredibly useful. Maybe I'm wrong, though, and you can hook it up to a laptop or something.
Also, does it work on OBI or OBD hybrid cars? I would doubt it because most are different.
OBDII cars should all be uniform, though...
maybe it works as advertised.
