acutally the evox is still awd with awc as well. it will challenge the new skyline and supra in straights, and probably obliterate them in any heavy cornering course.

the eclipse is also a very good car. while yes its heavy and FWD, it has very good, responsive handling, decent (compared to most cars for this price) acceleration, and has very nice styling.

but i do agree that they need to move up. Picture a 60,000 mitsubishi supercar. With 2 doors, a twin turbo V6 (GO MIVEC) AWD (with awc) and styling uniquness like the evoX.

That would be insane....(btw, the rx-8 and 350z are not in the same game with the skyline and supra and evo.

DUDE......, niether of those are "REAR WHEEL DRIVE!!!!!!" IF ALL WHEEL DRIVE OR FRONT WHEEL DRIVE IS WHAT I WANTED I WOULD NOT HAVE POSTED THIS.
AWD should be an option, not standerd like evo's.plus nothing mitsubishi makes right now off the showroom floor will not hang with the new supra(with an estimated 500hp from the factory), kabura, or the rx7 ("IF" mazda/ford brings it back)

MITSUBISHI JUST NEEDS TO GET OFF THEIR ASSES AND BUILD A "RWD SPORTSCAR" FOR THAT PRICE RANGE..........

Seeing as how the next GTR will have 500HP, I don't see that as happening. Either way, I get to drive it when it comes out. :bwekk:

:thumbsup: if they dont build 1, i will just take the money i would've spent on that car dump it into 2 of 5 starquest i own and go "old skewl" on all those newer cars. just like ima bout to do when gumball 3k happens, 1 of the starquest is almost done mechanical & suspension wise. paint and body are pretty descent.

It would be cool to see a new version of the starion. Mitsubishi is in a pretty deep hole I don't think they have the R&D to make a new super car as like Toyota and Honda. SH#t Mitsubishi pull out of FIA WRC, selling there plants.

Toyota is going to bad a$$ but Honda killed there super car it is no where near as the NSX but it dose have a lot of power V10 pushing out about 400-500HP

thats why chrysler sold all the mmc stock they owned some other corperation bought the stock in hopes to pull their stock up. guess if it doesnt happen it doesnt happen.

The end had came for the 4G63 powerplant over 20 years of racing. Now is the rise of the 4B11 can it follow the footstep of the 4G63 ???

I definetly think so,sick of reading on forums about people who say their not buying another mitsubishi if they dont put a 4g63 in the new evo.The 4B11 has all the right ingredients and ive read in various magazines and online reports about the evoX that the engine has been over engineered so that 300bhp is easy work for it.Mitsubishi uk say they expect to have some Fq badged 340 aqnd 360 versions of the X when it arrives there so thats promising.
