i just bought a windshield decal for my 99 eclipse, but the only way it would read right is if it was applied to the outside of the windshield, it's supposed to go on the outside, correct?

but wouldn't the winshield wiper's drag and peel it off of my window?

really stupid question but im confused

thanks!!

it goes on the outside, the windshield wipers shouldnt tear it up right away but over time yes it will peel it off. Doesnt always happen though just depends on how well its put on.

The tint guys that come to my work do windshield stuff but do it so thinly that it doesn't make a difference. This guy that I work with has a '98 GSX, black, and had limo all around with a limo banner. Still sticks after 4 months and no tearing. I don't know how think your banner is, though, so I don't know if it would do the same.

Allways use a windskreen wax and then u can put u'r wipers in the trunk... ( or wherewer u like) There is lot of different brand's to use... I think Turtles produkt is called rainoff.. Last's for a month. But one bottle will do the work plenty of times...
But dont get it on u'r decal unless u first try in a corner to see if the collor comes off...

having fitted a sunstrip to my carisma and living in the lovely and wet england I see no signs of any damage by scratching rubbing or otherwise.they are designed for this sort of wear and should last unless they are really cheap.I purchase all my grafix from vipergrafix.there selection is good and the product seems extremely durable.

Im a signwriter and it is better second surface which means on the inside of your window, obviously so the wipers dont attack it and the weather and everything else outside doesn't interfere with it.

Still should be fine though depending on the quality of the vinyl, plus most of the time it looks better and is more brighter and noticed on the outside.

I'd check with your local PD before putting one on. I know windshield banners are illegal around here.
