Hi everyone.

I've been offered a Mitsubishi Space Runner 1.8 GLXi (UK model) 1994.
Looks and drives well, the only thing stopping me from jumping at the chance of this motor is the high mileage.....it's 177000.
Is this a prblem with these, or do they run forever if well looked after?
Also....what are they like for parts etc?
I need something reliable as the wife is in a wheelchair and we need a reliable car as she has regular (twice a week) hospital visits.
Thanks for any advice.

Tony.

Ours is a 2.0glxi and has done 162,000 with no problems other than normal servicing. My experience is that they are very well built and reliable, but as with all cars, the most important factor is how it has been looked after in the past. 170,000 miles with a full history has life left in it. 20,000 miles of abuse is on its last legs.

Hope this helps & good luck.

Mike
