What is the average length of a keyless entry battery. I own a 2004 Endeavor and use the Energizer or Duracell batteries and they seem to stop working sooner than I expect. I would say a battery last 2 months tops. It just doesn't seem right, since I only lock or unlock the doors. I have accidently hit the panic button 3 times. Anyone else have the same issue? It might not be a problem at all but it seems strange. Sorry if this has already been asked.

Thanks

I have never changed the batteries in mine. Have owned it for 1 year/12,000 miles. Use the car 3-4 days per week.
