there are a few ways.
one, remove the arms and have them pressed out and in with a hydraulic press.

two, take it to mitsu and let them use the special tool they have to press it out and in without removing the arm from the car. they mearly have to loosen the arm and let it dangle a bit.

Hi,

I drive a 03 outlander and have just started experiencing this problem. I attributed it to the cold weather and the hardening and shrinking of all the metal and rubber parts. I have about 70000km on it now. My first diagnosis was a bushing. My question if anyone has heard of an after market bushing set that would replace the factory ones with ones that were more durable. Maybe eurothane?

Thanks for any help and to let others know they are not alone with squeaky suspension.

Steve.

I have searched all over the internet, and have yet to find any aftermarket companies that make bushings for the Outlander.
