Has anyone else checked thier front door seals on a 2004 Endeavor. The door seal that is on the inside (not the seal on the door inself, but the matching piece on the inside of the door frame) is splitting just below middle on the back.

It looks like a design issue because both front doors have worn this area of the seal out. It is getting pinched the the door itself. Car only has 38,000 miles and extended warranties do not cover this. The 3 year 36,000 mile factory warranty would have covered this.
