ok i bet a lot of you prolly already have done this or thought of it but for those of you that havent here is a way to get real cold air to your intake (this is only for people who dont have the foglights)

1. take off all that you need to to get to the fujita intake filter

2. take off the black housing that is in place of where the fog lights would be (2 screws in back and pop it out)

3. cut out the whole middle part

4. put everything back and should come out looking like this

(IMG:http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/1558/p10003257zs.jpg)

now real cold air can be fed directly to the intake

i am going to warn you about this. if you drive in the rain, mist will get on the filter. then you have a better chance of sucking water into the engine. do this at your own risk.

unless fujita has a bypass valve similar to AEM's

i understand....and mostly, nobody will have that problem. but im sure somebody will do this mod, hydrolock the engine, and then try to blame it on you. so i was just warning of the adverse side effects of doing this mod just so they can't blame us.

Quick word of caution, We had a person come in with this mod to the dealership where I work and they had driven through a puddle and hydro locked their engine. Warranty refused to cover it. It wasn't cheap.

if it is all the same couldnt you make your own bypass valve or at least a hole that acts as a bypass. just a thought

i would check to see if the AEM one fits. i know that you can use the AEM bypass valve on the Injen intake for the 3G. depending on the intake piping size, you may be able to use the AEM bypass on this intake.

I agree...I think that 3" piping is universal on MOST CAI's.

I thought most were 2.5, anyways AEM's bypass valves are available in different sizes. Probably not the cheapest place to buy them but here it is. With the fujita you will probably have to cut the piping to install it.
