Hey guys and gals. My question to you all is what are the best springs and shocks to drop a 97 spyder GS and give it an aggresive look with getting that bounce when driving that I've seen before. All I want is a nice Drop with a smooth ride without my car bouncing at all. I've had some honda guys tell me to use tokico shocks and H&R springs to lower my ride, Now i want to hear recomendation from fellow eclipse owners...

no no no skunk i like your opinions on some things but HE DOESNT WANT BOUNCE what ever you do , dont get coil overs. their mainly for showcars so that at a show you can lower them to the ground. and whenever you hit a bump with coils on you bounce like crazy now i dont really know which suspension is the best so im not going to answer that part just letting you know about coils

I have coil overs and they are horrible you bouce bad. Get lowering springs and if you were willing to spend 900 on coil overs you might as well just bag it. :D

Personal experience....if you put coilovers on they have to cut your struts...if you wanna get something else you have to buy new struts...COILOVER ARE HORRIBLE!!!

i know this may sound dumb but what i have in my talon right now is sooo nice and sooo cheap
i have goldline 2" drop springs for $200 CDN (when it settled ita actually closer to 5") and kyb gtr-2 struts (about $60 CDN each my cost i believe)
the car is solid, not too harsh of a ride and not bouncy at all! its nice and low (i can maybe put a finger between the tire and wheel well) and it does not rub anywhere
im not one for buyin the cheap stuff but i couldnt go wrong with this...
