Hey, I purchased an endeavor recently too. I want to put some subs in. A couple questions: did you replace the deck or somehow wire the subs to work from the stock CD player? I'd also like to hear more about your sub box. does it fit right behind the back seats? inbetween the backseat and where there is that little divider on the panel of each side? if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy it and how much did it cost? i noticed you're from vancouver, i'm from kelowna.

oh ya, and to answer your question i'm not aware of any kits. i've seen alot of compact radio antennas for sale on ebay, but that's about it :) . I added the foglights b/c i got the LS model and it didn't come with them. I might add fender flares in the spring too. good luck and keep us posted what you do to it.

hey sup.! i spent about $1700 2 12'' inch kicker comps and a pheonix gold amp. i pretty much had a custom made box! there are 3 port. the subs face each other and theres an opening in the middle port. its all fitted wit 1/2 inch plexy glass. i got mirrors n blue lights.. it's actualy inside the trunk rite behind the seat. i wanted a box that i can take out so it just sits rite in there in the middle as far back as it can against the seats. I hav side panels thats are cut out exactly the way the side trunk would be and i carpeted with the xact color of the trunk carpet. so it looks stock! no i didnt change my deck cuz it would screw up that lil screen. i hooked it up 2 the stock amp which is bhind the glove compartment. u need to do that to add a new amp... for starters u can simple change your stock 8 inch sub into like an 8 inch kicked comp for liek under $200. it actualy made a difference! anymore questions hit it back

Hey. Love my Endeavor. I've made a few changes, got the compact, rubber antenna, and also got the spoiler, both from e-bay. I put on Veloce 20 inch wheels w/Toyo tires, also added the foglights, I put Sylvania Silverstars in the headlights and foglights. The spoiler looks great, I installed it in a few hours with no problems. No mods yet to the sound system. I'm very interested to hear what others are doing to their Endeavors.

I installed a Reese hitch that looks much better than the factory hitch since it is tubuler and rounded like the rear end. Also, installed a Lund Interceprtor bug shield on the hood since it screws into 4 existing holes unlike the dealer one or the only other one made which clips onto the edges and often slips off. Would like to replace the stereo with one that plays MP3's, however doubtful if this is possible since the XLS model incorperates the factory stereo into the remote controls on the steering wheel and center display. It also has a non square hole shape like after market stereos insert into. Any stereo upgrade ideas? What about chip or software upgrades by stereo maker?

I am trying to connect my MP3 player to the factory stereo on my XLS. So far no luck - plugged an aux input adapter into the 13 pin jack on the back (see pic), but can't get any signal as far as I can tell. Any ideas?

Any luck with getting your MP3 player working? I'm looking for a solution to the same problem.

Nothing yet. Most of the places I've called have told me to plug an RF modulator into the antenna jack, but I want line in. I've got a number to call at Panasonic, but I'm doubting they'll help any - its not their product, its their parent company's product.

That's the answer I got from Panasonic. "Manufactured for Mitsubishi, ask them." I haven't found an adapter yet either. Reason the one you tried didn't work is that it (probably) just makes the pin connections. For the CD-Changer controls since about 99 there is two-way computer-speak (1 and 0, High and Low Voltage) BETWEEN the head unit and the CD Changer. It travels over pins 9 through 13. The head unit evidently has to get a "I'm factory authorized and working properly" signal from the CD/AUX before it will send the right and left audio inputs through the system. Some guy in Germany has a circut board that does this for other Panasonic radios. I'm going to try it and see if it will work on Mitsubishi - will let you know. This is not a priority project on my honey-do list so it may be a few months. In the mean time, if anyone knows of an aux input converter, please post.
