Hi from N Ireland my first time on the forum so bear with me if im off skew. Has anyone any good ideas on improvements to the Carismas headlights. 2001 model with clear lights and Osram 50% bulbs but still poor. Elwyn

Try with Phillips VisionPlus lights. Had the same problem with Lancer 96, and with Carisma 98.

Cheaper option ( 2x) is Xenon Bluevision (don't know if you have it in Ireland). The lamp itself looks blue, but when you put it on, it gives you pure white light with no blue effect(geeky in my opinion). Have them for a weeks , and are great so far.

Got the xenon bulbs before christmas myself and made driving around galway easy as. They worked out at about €18 for the pair. Does say on the side of the box that they're for show/off road use but they don't seem to be blinding anyone
