I don't think this beats that but 455 olds. in a MGB.

don't know the exact size, but I saw a big block in a pinto. flipped when it launched for the first time at Keystone Raceway. what an ****, the bell housing was almost right beside the driver and the car was banned from the track

I say in hotrod mag. a long time ago a 65 to 70 beetle with a big block.
It was a tube chassis though.

i want to build a tube chassis go-cart with a geo metro 3 cyl in it, or a gsxr 1000 motor. it would prob only weigh 200lbs, 360 with me in it. it would be a blast

might as well go all the way and use the trans with it. that sucker would go like 60 mph. lol.

theres a guy down here, that bought a focus svt and pulled motor trans and all and put it in a 1999 escort zx2.. .. i wouldnt of believed it if i didnt see it, i'll post pics later

but the 1999 escort didnt beat the 98 escort with a gude turbo charger..
they raced at bristol motor speedway friday night street fights, lmao
great stuff

yeah I planned on using the whole drive train. it would be one hell of a project. if I use the metro engine and trans it would go around 85 I think. if I used the GSXR engine and trans (if even possible) i could, theoretically, hit 189(top speed of the bike).

I would probably scatter the whole cart at around 60 though and blow my body into a billion pieces. I want it to be a 40-50mph stump jumper that I could take to a beach, mud hole, or dune and tear it up.

my uncle had a 69 beetle that had a kawasaki 750cc hooked up to the beetle transaxel.
it had 30 gears. 24 foward and 6 reverse.

trans 1gear kaw 1-6
trans 2gear kaw 1-6 and so on.

This may sound nuts but there has to be someone else that has seen this be done.
bad thing was it had the Rolls Royce fiberglass hood on it. and thats where the rad was.

The trans and engine, as far as I know in bikes, are integral.
