hi there anyone know how the ball joints are replaced,i got a knocking noise from the suspension not sure what it is either ball joints or the struts any help people?also while idling the revs dip up and own from say 900 down to 500 and stay there,from cold starts the motor revs to 2500rpm until it has warm up bit excessive i think any ideas

have a knocking noise coming from the fromt left too, but havn't sourced it yet. Had a mechanic look over it, better safe than sorry, he thought it might be links starting to wear, but that it didn't need immediate work (in my case), The revs "hunting" when idle happens on alot of the GDI's, the biggest problem this causes it coking in the engine so using a cleaner in the petrol seems like a good idea. the 2500 does sound fairly high though
