rpw don't make any parts for my particular engine, they do have parts for a 1.6 engine but not the 4g18, is it the same? and is it possible to have a turbo on a 1.6 engine? can't seem to find any. i found a cat-back frm greaddy (evo2) it said that the oz model needs bumper modification, does that mean it's just for the oz model or for all lancers? thnx guys, sorry if i'm bothering you

Hmmmmm well RPW have stuff for some of the rest of the 4G1X range, and i think the 4G15 and 4G18 are quite similar.Try private messaging " mitsiman" he works at rpw and will be happy to help out and tell you what will and wont work The proton waja also has a 4g18,any parts you can find for that should also fit.

QUOTE(utiheadbanger @ Feb 16 2006, 03:07 PM) I am pretty sure the only difference between the 4G15 and 4G18 is that the 15 is a 1.5L and the 18 is a 1.6L. Mitsubishi bored out the 4g15 to make the 4g18, and like the Lancer in the USDM from the Mirage, the 1.8L was bored out to make the 2.0L which is why the cams from either engine are swappable. to my knowledge the 4g18 is much more similar to the 4g92 non-mivec the 4g18 did replace the 4g92 in newer models that previously carried the 4g92 such as the 2000 + Lancer the 4G18 engine is a coilpack engine wheras the 4G15 is a distributor engine

:00000732: Hey! I have the same car and engine so maybe I can give you a few pointers. First, a K&N filter for the stock air box assembly is the best you could go. Another thing you could do is buy a High Flow cat, an underdrive racing pulley and a fuel pressure regulator. These mods will give you a slight difference in performance. I'm guessing, since you have the 1.6L, that your ride didn't come with the OEM Tach. Checkout my webpage at My WebpageHere you'll see what I've done to mine which will help you to get ideas. If you have more questions don't hesitate to contact me, just hit the reply button or send an email to cjramos54@msn.com
