I haven't personally but I have a friend who has. looked like an el-camino. it was hilarious, BUT kinda cool because we could stand in it like the bed of a truck while he drove down the road. Watch out for rain

depending on if you have your windows open or not you can get exhaust gasses in your car and you know how that would make you smell.

i took mine off but i had to clip the defrost wires and then reattach them...but you cant take it off without cutting thm so i had to put a female clip on one and a male on the other and recconect them that way...the hatch is heavy though...just two bolts on one side and two on the other...it does look crazy though....lol

Sounds pretty interesting...you could call it the Mitsubishi El Clipso...I've seen an Eclipse like that but it looked like a rally car and I liked it...but not practical for everyday use..which I know you stated would only be a few days. I'd like to have a pic of that.

yea it would look pretty crazy. i know for my mx-3 there used to be a kit out that was a fiberglass cover with a window in the front so you could see out the back it was pretty cool but really low quality.it made the car look alot like a del sol. lol. dont know if theirs any kits out for tha clips or talon like that one but yea, i also figured it would be a great way to save alota weight (not to sure about body integrety without the hatch tho)

the hatch doesn't do anything for integrity except for itself. all it does is add abou 80-90lbs. never weighed it. rip that fucker off haha
