no the tranny wont bolt up, im pretty sure a n/t one will bolt to your 1.8 tho, your 1.8 tranny will go "kablewee" and the harness needs to changed also, as there are more wires for the turbo and other fun stuff... you might be able to hack into your 1.8, i dont know, but with something like that i would also rather have the turbo one, just to make sure...

Sounds like I need to sell and find a turbo car. From my understanding the 1g 4g63t is a 6 bolt?

the 90-91.5 or 92.5 are six bolts i dont remember the exact year, but it was a mid model change... and the only wrong with a 7bolt is crank walk, which rarer than a cubs world series, but if you are going to rebuild it before you use it, i think a 7bolt with around 100k on the odo would be fine, it has had enough time to walk i it was going to...

and not that many 2g's have... ppl just blow it out of proportion... and by now most of the motors that are going to walk most likely have...

nothing would work if you swapped the way you wanted. you need a hell of a lot more then just and eng. and tranny.
ecu, wireharness (chasis/electric), will your drive shafts fit (some are 26,27,28,29 spline),
