Also i tried taking the panels on the side off but i couldnt find anymore srcews to undo and the last panel was still held on firm! Has anyone got ne pointers?

Hi!

In the centre console, you will see 2 screws,(under the mat?) take these out.

Move the front seats forward & on each side at the rear of the console, there is one screw, remove these.

carefully lift the console off, remembering to unplug the gear select light if auto.

In centre dash console, underneath controls, remove 2 screws.

you should now be able to see radio frame, remove screws, 2 each side.

It has been at least 5 yrs since I have needed to do this & now own a different car, but I know the centre console must be removed, & the screw as noted above must be removed.

Hope this helps, let us know!
