from what i've seen for the most part your pretty good with years. they are mostly all compatable. but it also depends on what part your talking about. headers on a SOHC are good from 91-99 but i'm sure the ECU is not at all. but if you stick around for a better answer i'm sure you'll find one.

yes the location is the same. there is a really good link to an in depth write up in TTangels Original Post.

The big issues are the injectors, oil pan, and the engine mounts, other than that it is fairly simple.

i have noticed that many people have been asking general questions about there cars and getting back information that does not pertain to their car, so i thought maybe in the future it would be a good idea for everyone toidentify their vehicle as a base model sl or vr4 and dohc or sohc thsi would save time on responses thank you...

All that matters is if you have the SOHC or DOHC motor.

IF you have a VR4 and are asking how to turbocharge your car in this thread... enough said.

There isn't a kit out there for the SOHC. Nothing from the DOHC motors bolt up, The manifolds are what would need to be custom. I have to think it up a little more, just stay on me about it.

It might be easier to go single turbo rather then twin. I'll bring more info soon.

Oh its possible, people have turbo'd variations of this motor before just not in the 3/s platform because we have "better" options. But for a kick **** sleeper set up. I like the idea.

I mean the compression is good for boosting, alot better then the NA DOHC, so you dont have to worry about that.

contacted them. kit is no longer working. too many people had trouble. i think only one got fully installed. maybe 2. but i talked to a few others who had huge failures. one person dumped 7k into his trying to get it to work. slipping belts and what not.
