I agree completely. Thats why I'm waiting. I'm sure they'll put out a matching one eventually. Until then, I just pray that I don't catch a rock in my radiator! This is, however, a little better than that billet grill crap they sell on ebay. The design isn't so bad, they should make a two piece though so both the grills match.

I have mine and cannot install it. I have an ingen air take and this needs to connect to the bottom of the old one correct? if not how did you install it.

The Billet Grille can be found on e-bay. It's made by a company that, i believe, is called "Mr. Grille", but I'm not sure. Just do a search for "2006 eclipse grille" (without the quotes) and it should come up. He's usually got two ads running at the same time. I've seen it on a couple 4G's (on the net) and for that style of grille it's great.
The upper inserts on the L.M.I. grille are on the way (hoping for end of the month at the latest). They will be a larger mesh size, and will not be the same "no drill" mount. The three piece set will be a more of a permanent attachment.
The one currently for sale is more for general protection of the internal parts. Good for winter driving when you don't want a higher value grille to get hit with all the salt and crud you run across during the snow season.
if thats what your talking about it looks kinda funny in the pic. sorry i took a closer look and it looked like it was done in a paint prgram and put on there.

That's the one. What I don't understand is why he's still using the photoshopped picture. I've seen at least one other 4G on the internet (not including the one above, if it is the same brand) that has the mesh installed. And most of the other vehicles the guy sells billets for have photo's of the real thing. His choice I guess.
I'd like to see one that has a bit more space between the bars though. From the photo's it looks alot like it would cut airflow down a little to much.

Perhaps at the time he started selling them all he could do is use photoshop in attempt to imitate what it would look like installed without physically installing the parts on a 06 Eclipse he has no access to. I would of at least asked one of the winning bidders to snap a shot of it installed or found a real pic out on the net to put up there. When you look at that eBay auction that picture just looks too fake and I'm sure causes people to second guess the seller before they bid.

Agree with winfinit, definitly not a fan of those grills. Sucks but, something better will come out believe me. I'd wait.

The one on ebay is cheaper and it looks good ... altho it says no body required they send you lil clamps with 2 sided tape for the lower part and zip ties for the upper 2 and the zip ties are huge so i went and got smaller ones you cant even tell there on it but the lower part i dont trust 2 side tape so i drill small holes in just to hold it in ........ took about 20 min for lower just to line it up, took about an hour for upper 2 because it is a HUGE pain to get the zipties through the plastic and the grill and have them lined up because there is no room to reach but it can be done with minor indents on ur arms lol
