Hello everyone.
I`ve just got a 1993 Triton 4wd ute with trayback, 188,00 kms in great condition.
Its got a bench seat, but would like to put in buckets, does anyone know if
later model Triton seats will fit, or possibly Pajero ones. I`m not sure if the
floorpan and fixings are the same though the models.
Thanks,
Tony

Well after a bit of work I can reply to my own question.
My vehicle is a MJ, the next version is MK and they are more of them on the roads..
I managed to get some MK seats in really excellent condition from a wreckers. The fixing
points look very similar. However after starting to install them, only the outside two mounts
are the same, both the inboard points are different.
... The short story is after making a rear mount assembly with my home welder and
welding a new flange on the front, they fit just fine.. and are 100% better than the
original bench.

Hello Tony.
I am in the same situation, in that i want to obtain bucket seats for my 1993 MJ Triton as well. I will try to track down some MK seats now .....thanks to your info. However i would be interested if anyone else has been able to install any other types/brands as well.
Thanks.
Wayne.
