Hi i have an australian delivered 89 L300 p and im considering transplanting a holden 3.8 v6 engine and auto using a gardener conversion kit , Q has anyone done this before ?do you have any pics? and is it a good conversion, does it really fit or nearly fit?? Any advice greatly appreciated.

there is a deliclub.com member with a 3.8 if you have a 2.4 you have a good eng 4 mods

I've been thinking about this too.
What mods are people doing to the 2.4 motor, & what kind of power/torque increase are they getting?
Any pics of the 3.8 V5 conversion?

I saw this one for sale in carsales.com.au, looks like a nice tight fit in the photo, would be excellent conversion if you needed some better towing power.

I'd would say E-mail them and ask your questions as they have obviously done the conversion. The kits they have certainly seem comprehensive and they do seem to know what they are talking about.
Would be a nice conversion I think.
