My 92 Eclipse has a tach that isn't functioning. I want to trace the wire/cable but need some input on where to start.

THanks,

Jeff

did you stock ECU die on you not to long ago ?? I bet that you have a 1990 ECU in your car. The ECU's from the 1990 and from the 1991-1994 are different.

Could it be a bad CRC located on the distributor? The ECU is 1992.

Have you had the instrument cluster out of it lately? If so then you may not have it pushed in far enough. Instead of the normal harness plugging into your cluster, the harness is mounted to the dash and your cluster plugs into it.

Tack is connected to the cluster. Maybe the ECU like you stated.
