Hello people, I just thought i'd drop a line a say hello to the forum as its my first post. I don't have a mitsubishi at all, I have a peugeot 205, I come on the forum though to find out why the engine produces the power it does though especially the lancer series. I am a huge fan of the lancer though, and would love one, but at the moment my student loan won't strech to it.

I am bascially putting a 1998cc 8 valve turbo engine into my peugeot 205 at present, the specs im rebuilding it to are quite high, but im searching for why it only makes 150bhp standard one of the reasons are the low pressure turbo as standard 0.4bar. But even when the boost is increased to 1bar it struggles to produce 200bhp. I think at the moment the main restriction is the T25 turbo and the design of the manifold.

Anyway i thought id just say a quick hello, and hope to be asking some questions soon.

cheers lee
