For some reason the gas door won't open...I can pull the cable and unlatch it but it won't pop out...Getting gas has now became a two person job...Any suggestions...

Sounds like the spring has come off. There should be a small spring unit near the hinge, to push the door open. It is only a push fit, so may have been knocked off when you filled up.

Not sure how flexible the door area is, but you may be able to put a self-adhesive rubber foot onto the hinge, which will push the door out when you pull the release. Alternatively, a blob of silicon sealant in the right place will do the same job ! Anything that provides a compression when the door is pushed shut will make it pop back out - just don't put anything too big there, or it will distort it !

there should be a black coated spring clip in the filler flap that makes it pop open when the cable is pushed.the other suggestions will work but the part is very cheap from your local dealer and most carry them in stock as they fit a lot of mitsi models
