I am looking to increase the horsepower in my 1999 mitsubishi mirage DE, I would like to get up around 200 horsepower. Does anyone know what will fit, or what i can make fit. I would greatly appriciate any information you can give me!

Thanks,
Rallynut33

Buddy there are heaps of options regarding engine choices. Try out www.rpw.com.au they're Australian but they have a vast knowledge of Mitsu's.

How easy is it to get your hands on a MIVEC engine, its the 1.6 engine out of the Colt/Mirage.... as standard they kick out 183bhp with the right tuning you may be able to hit the 195-200bhp.

the mivec cyborg engines are 173bhp and will tweek well. an evo 4 lump would fit nicely. there is a cao cyborg on ebay at the moment for 2,500, there was a 96 cjo on there for 5k a week or so ago that didnt sell.

go on www.mitsucolt.co.uk, take a look at Traceys evo colt :)
