Hi all. I just picked up a 07 Spyder GTV6 in Silver. Installed springs and 19s already, looking to do more. Havent found much to fit it yet, hopefully all is the same with 06 hardtops. Ive got a whole bunch of stuff ordered already, suspension, lighting, and interiors mods. Anyone know of an exhaust to fit? Apparently hardtop 06 exhausts are not the same.

Got the same thing in black, brother. Am i wrong? or is this the phatist ride? I'm trying to find out if the ingen CAI will fit my new spyder. if it does, I'm guessing the extra $300 bucks will be worth the 8 to 10 hp.

i can help u with this question. first off, i have a 07 V6 GT coupe, and one thing that is certain is that the engine builds of the convertible and the coupe are exactly the same, the size and everything, so an exhaust on a coupe will definitely fit a spyder, 06 and 07 interchangeable.

for exhaust, i recomend an axleback, w/ about a 10whp igain. as for the intake, go for the AEM Cold Air Intake(CAI). from dynos that ive observed from the club4geclipse forum (a much more prominent forum) and from different websites selling performance products, the AEM CAI has slightly larger gains in whp and torque over the other CAIs, but the truth is that the difference in gains of CAIs is pretty much negligible.

so finally, to sum up wat im saying. i'd recommend an AEM CAI and a buschur axle back exhaust.

road race engineering

check out that link. this place sells both the Injen and AEM CAI and comes with both of the intake dynos. ull see a slightly larger gain with the AEM then the Injen.
