I've got an 1983 Dodge Challenger, great car, unfortunately when I got it there was a valve blown through the side of the block and unfortunately I live in northern canada and am having trouble trying to replace the engine. However one of the questions that I have is, I know that i'm able to use some of the other engines availible, yet which model types where they. as well as does anyone know if the motor in the Eagle Talon would fit in. I haven't mesured it, yet i'd like to try and keep the G54B tranny because is was rebuilt like 1000km before the guy threw the valve. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, thx.

Oops... the Challenger model referenced for this forum is a 4x4 SUV sold in the UK, not the older Challengers.

What engine did those come with?

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this a Dodge and not a Mitsi? If so, I should move to another part of the forum.

This post certainly has relevance on the other "Car" forums on this site since Dodge imported and rebadged a number of Mitsu built vehicles. The original Dodge Raider (Gen I, 2 Dr Montero) is one as is the Dodge Challenger.
