İ have a 2005 1.3 colt
and i have a problem
my car is very noisy so i am angry mitsubishi .
Because 1.3 95hp smart four-four have a cover of engine but colts haven't it.
i want to this cover of engine of smart four-four

I think that if the ingeneers of Mitsubishi (or wathever who designed the engine) didn´t put a cover over the engine, it´s for something in particular. I mean, when the car was desgined, it had to pass engine noise tests, and many more controls, and if finally the car it´s how we´ve got it, it´s just because has the correct adjustments to work fine.

The Colt CZT has a Engine cover and the new Ralliart Colt Version R have a red cover.

The only reason I can think of is cost. It's cheaper to have the engine without any cover in the lower cost versions. Maybe in a official Mitsu shop they can mount it for you (in other words, you can buy it :P)

I fell in love for the red cover... Maybe I'll switch mine ;)

Better insulate engine lid and other parts.

Engine Cover might be bad in engine heat on the top....

This is painted silver, which I dont like, but instead the origial where it says MIVEC and the Mitsu symbol.

Any ideas???
