The area surrounding the button was soaking wet, and by the end of the day, there was water leaking in around the airbag to the left of the windshield. The dealer said it's the sunroof that is leaking, and it's not the two hoses that are supposed to drain out the water. They have no idea where the leak is coming from, nice. The mechanic pointed to a blue one exactly like mine, and said that car was having the same exact problem. He said they were waiting to hear back from Mitsubishi, I'll bet it will end up being a recall on the car because he said a lot of people were having the problem. They are going to have to replace that fabric too because you know it's going to smell nasty in there when it gets really hot out. For what I'm paying on that car, and I know you are paying the same, they better fix it. That GT model isn't cheap that's for sure. So, now I'm waiting for a new sunroof motor, because the water fryed mine out. But, putting in a new motor isn't going to fix the leak ya know? So, I have electrical tape surrounding the edges of my sunroof so there's at least no more water damage. That has to be where the water is coming in because the car seems to be dry right now, and it's been raining all day here in Chicago. I just got my new wheels for my car and I was so excited, only to go in the car the very next day and find water on the inside, what a buzz kill. I hope it doesn't happen to yours, keep an eye on it. I'll post and let people know if I hear about a recall.
