I'm trying to hook up a new stereo intothe car but the newer wire colors don't match up with theolder colors. can someone tell me what the wires on the older 472955 model stand for? There's 12 different wires, 4 power, 8 speakers

Are you trying to install another factory stereo, or an aftermarket one?

Did you purchase a wire harness adapter so you don't have to cut the factory wire harness? That will make installing a stereo much easier.
