Why do you want to cover the seats? I don't knwo about all 4G Eclipses, but my wife's GS has teh Airbags in teh outer sides of the front seats. Wouldnt seat covers take away from the proper functioning of those if needed? Ya never know what may happen.

He's correct, you should no put seat covers on these seats. It says specifically on the door jam of both pass. and driver's side not to do this, for safety's sake.

There are special seat covers that will not affect your airbags. I forget which company makes it, but as soon as I find out the answer I will post something for you.

It is nice to have aftermarket seat covers for GS because some people like the feel of leather or suede like material over that stock material. Also, if you spill something or damage it, it is easier to replace the seat cover than to replace the seat.
