Eduardo

I drive a '98 X2 1.8 gdi tiptronic, and I am very pleased with the car, in particular the flexible accommodation and the easy and quiet running.

On a minus note it is pretty gutless, and the tiptronic gearbox is not at all nice or usable.
So I was thinking I would change it for an X3, and I would like your opinion about the X3.

I've been driving autos for years [Alcyone] and would prefer an auto, but I feel the tiptronic might ruin any joy the car would have. So maybe the manual might be better. I don't know.

What is your opinion of the X3? How well do you like it? Is it hard on fuel?
{1.8 ranges between 9 and 11 l/100}

Thanks

Well as u know l have a 98 X3 very fast very easy to drive not really good on gas it's not a gas guzzler like the big SUVs but then again I changed out my to to an EVO IV (TME). Nothing was wrong with the 1st engine but it has alot of mileage on it
Personally I don''t have any regrets buying this vehicle. So in other words i don't think that anywhere you live with regards to GAS it should be alot cheaper than Jamaica price
