I own a 1997 RVR "deportee". I live in Saint Lucia, a small island in the lower West Indies or Caribbean. We have a real problem getting proper information about parts for our RVR here in Saint Lucia. Perhaps that is why the car was sold to us at such a reasonable price.

I am in an ongoing process of bringing this car up to tip top shape. Anyone with helpful information, similar interests and or experiences in this type of endevor, I would like to hear from.

Welcome to the forum, there is not a lot of info in english for the RVR, and my car is in good shape all round, I have asked on this forum if anyone knows how to make the lights on my compass/clock work, but no help. There is a owners handbook in english available at www.Trademe.co.nz which is a NZ auction site, and I have just ordered a workshop manual on cd, which just covers the 4g63 engine only, and probably no use to you with the 1997 model
Cheers Gerry

I found a specialist mitsubishi/ralliart dealer who has a CDROM with all the part codes here in Australia [in english] they will bring in any thing i want, so see your local mitsubishi dealer if you have one and find a ralliart dealer it worked for me.
