Hi to all, I am sure this has been bouncing about on the forum but it's easier to ask again. ;)
My internal sensor on my paj is reading +53 it's not that hot here in the UK honest, I have read everywhere that it is likely to be the internal sensor under the steering column.
Mitsi as usual want a stupid price for a new one so I figured as the housing and everything else is ok, to renew the thermistor would be a good idea. (Something cheap for a change)
Scouring around I have been able to define that I should have been looking for a 1k ohm NTC thermistor or so I thought!! :blush-anim-cl:
I went out and got one, fitted it in and still the temp is reading way too high.
Can anyone tell me what I need please so I can walk into my local store and say give me a *???***.
You'll need to explain it in simple terms as electronics are not my forte but I know how to solder!
Is there a positive and a negative to these things?
Many thanks in anticipation to your replies.
Regards
Mel
