A friend of mine has a 1993 Toyoya Tercel 1.5L SOHC engine in his car he was thinking of getting a 1.8L or even a 2.0L. Is there an engine out there anywhere that would (1) fit in the engine compartment and (2) link up to the tranny? Thanks guys. :thumbsup:

If im not mistaken there is a jdm turbo engine that swaps right in.

I believe thats the 3sgte which is found in 2nd gen. Mr2 turbos and also the Celica all-trac turbo.

4AGE supercharge or none supercharged or even a a 3sGTE which has a bug turbo, my dad has one in stock with topmount intercooler. My dad says alot of engines would fit into the engine bay. And isnt is also known as a AE101 corolla? carib 4WD?
