I think I am going to strip the interior, remove the spare tire, and tool kit to lighten up. Oh yea I forgot that I have a full 3" inch catback exhaust. Drivers x perience? HAHA.. lets just say Im not a rookie :). Him... He aiight.

Well, dunno if you read Sport Compact Car, but they said the Scion Tc is not even worth modding that much. But, I'd take the Talon if it's the DOHC version.

The Talon takes this hands down. The Scion TC is a 16 second car from the factory. The mods that you listed might bring him down to a 15.5 if he's a good driver. The Scion only has 160hp to move a car that weighs 3600lbs. The Talon weighs something like 700lbs less and has more power.

I agree completely. Part of the Tc's problem is the open differential, the other problem is the body lean. The suspension stock on this car sucks, too.

Toyota offers a supercharger kit that's fully warrantied when you have it installed at the dealer, but again, open diff = lots of rubber smoke.

I think about that much. The main thing is it's covered under warranty for those "I don't know a thing about cars but I want my Tc upgraded from painfully slow to below adequate."
