I have atm, 17" Enkei rims, DC Sports twin canister exhaust, iridium plugs, red neon under the seats for my current mods.
Im looking at yellow neon under car kits, short shifters, strut tower bars, lowering springs, intakes, and decals. I found the decal I really like at decalfx.com...#25.

hey dcoz i have an alloy rim 17" alessio wheels, but i have not yet put it on my car , just want to ask if there are problem about the comfort or the accelaration when you put the bigger wheels? how about the turning manuever. I also have a nos kit and it was not yet installed coz dont know if there is a refill station.

by the way i think we have the same model of car.

Well with the bigger wheels you do loose a little shock absorbtion. But other than that you should keep the turning manuverability. Mine are wrapped in Continentals, not your common immport car tires but they have 2X the tread wear as toyo and nitto's but with the same speed rating. They stick like glue cornering... almost too well sometimes. I get good hole shots and lots of turned heads...

well as far as i have seen there are no suspension mods or strut tower bars for the es model but all kinds of stuff for the ls model and a number for the oz but when searching the ls model is the best to have for searching
if anyone does find even a coil over kit for the es please let me knowi really wanna lower this car
reallly wish there was a cold air intake kit for the automatics but so far the tranny getsin the way
aem has a cold air but te front oil pan on the tranny blocks its passage

for whell spacers
as long as you dont go like three sizes up like to a 215 series you shouldnt ned them
even at 205 becareful on the hi speed tights
but 205 is plenty wide for this car

oh i have a 2002 lancer es
mostly stock with kn replacement filter and and an aerospeed gforce exhaust
(muffler) looking to replace #1 muffler witha glass pack
dont know yert though
really want to get rid of this ignition system its got power but i hate these packs
if some one knows where to get fire wires for this set up with out custome making them my self let me know
if there isnt one might rig up a couple of msd blastersbut this sux not being able to upgrade the ignition because of those packs

only other mods i have are to stereo
two 12" audio ahns in bandpass with 1000w kenny fed by fockford wires and sony head
damn box fills the trunk
20" blue neon in box with blue front markers and silverstar head lights

Note: to anyone else installing those strut tower bars...
Make sure that when you install the front bar, that you have at least 1/2" between the bar and the dome of the throttle body. Took me 5 minutes to figure out it was the thing making the noise of hard takeoffs. Sitting at idol and reving it up made no noise...
As for the rear brace... you can easily mark the interior panels by putting it in place and pressing on the panel and locating the 4 corners of the brace. With a small marker and utility knife just cut the 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" hole and walla you got youe interior back in place and a nice polished bar.
If anyone wants to see them installed, send me a PM and I will polaroid them.
