Hi all My name is Keith and I am from the UK
this is my first query and probably not the last,
one of my 3year old Outlander key fobs has stopped working, I have replaced the battery with no joy, does it have to be re programed and does any body know how, as all it says in my manual is take it to your dealer, any help will be greatfully recieved
Searching the web I see this subject has been coverd in other forums with some confusion
Some say I will need a working fob, others require wires grounding
Confused!

the programming requires your alarm code.if you have the card it comes on it explains how to reprogramm key fobs.you can do it yourself but it is tricky.also if it is factory fit alarm you require the touch key to reprogram the fobs.your dealer is the best option especialy if you do not have the alarm code.they can fax cobra for the code with the alarm ecu numbers
