Hello aivan1203

The "ticking" sound is your glow plug relay clicking in and out to keep the engine firing nicely when it is cold. A temperature sensor near no.1 injector monitors this.

The glow control unit has a prestart timer and a post start temperature monitor. Since glow plugs are heavy on the amps, the electricals will see the load such as dimmer lights when switched on, but if they are playing havoc with the electrics either your battery or alternator is sad.

For alt removal try here, its in a tight space and remember the vaccum pump on the back is hooked up right, the brake booster needs it!
