so i have a high mileage 1.8 motor but still runs great......i just put and exhaust system into it and an after-market air-intake on it as well.....they both seem to help it out but i would like to know of what else to do to make it quicker?.....(port & polish) i dont really know what would be the best thing to do...

if anyone could help that would be sweet!!!

Thanks

sorry to burst your bubble, but the 4g37 or 1.8l SOHC engine is a peice...i have one now... i would suggest not modding any farther and save and get a 4g63 or a 4g63t it will make more power and fix that need for speed... thats what im currently doing... and saving the 1.8 as a DD b/c it gets decent MPG and is reliable...
