hi, i recently purcase a express L300 1993 4x4 from my girlfriends dads friend and it is currently out of state, my questions are.

if i were to put mags/rims on it do i have to worry about the 4x4 locks(if there is any) on the wheels?

and has anyone heard of lowering a 4x4 van? ive been looking around but haven found anything.

thanks to anyone who answer these questions

I dont really have answers to your questions.. but wouldn't lowering a 4wd kinda be against the whole purpose of it being a 4wd? Sticking a liftkit on it is a much better idea :)

And looks way better anyway..

Unfortunately its not something Ive done, and i'm not sure how the 4wd hubs are attatched to the wheels. The 1993 should be Autohubs, i.e. when engaging 4wd reverse _slowly_ for about 5 meters to engage the hubs. You'll know if you are in 4wd mode if you can't spin the wheels :) And I would assume that the hubs can probably be removed and put onto any rims you are going to put onto it, or perhaps only factory mags will take them.

Sorry I can't be much help on this one, hopefully someone else in here will know more and correct me if i'm wrong about the removal/installing the 4wd hubs onto different wheels.
