Hi. I have a 2003 Outlander that was involved in an accident. I like the 05 Outlander lights. The projector ones I believe with the circle glass in the headlight. Will they fit my 03? Thanks.

I have a 06 outlander with the projectors....I am pretty much 100 percent sure they will fit all outlander 03-06. The only thing different is the inside of the headlight where the projector is the headlight its self is the same size , shape, and has the same mounting brackets. The question is the wiring where the bulbs connect the oultander with projectors might use different size headlight bulbs and also has an extra little bulb in the light itself

Tail lamp housing shape was changed in 2005 with the new tailgate. So if these are the ones you are looking for they are OEM on the XLS 2003 and 2004 and these will fit.

Actually their prices are better than dealer. Example: the front flex exhaust pipe 438$ at dealer +tax; 213$ + shipping at motion

OK here goes. Halogen bulbs are whiter than tungsten but the efficient light is still in the yellow spectrum. Now contrary to popular belief whiter light is not brighter it is just that we see better at night with white light. By adding blue glass you end up filtering the yellow light but by doing so you actually deminish the luminosity by 20 to 30%. Since traffic signs reflect white better than yellow these will be more visible. Also which I find more important since I put a lot of kms is the white of the White tailed deer really stands out. The sooner you can see these guys the better. So after trying about 5 or six different kinds including PIAA, Silverstone and Xtreme I finally found a set that was acceptable (Illumina 100Watts high beam/80 watts low beam). Here is a picture. You will notice power is higher to compensate for lost of luminosity due to filtering. Don't forget to apply dielectric grease to prevent overheating of the contacts with time.
Some people have asked if I had HID lamps.

Sylvania Silverstar

that was the type of bulb i purchased last night on internet after a long research
im unsure how bright it'll be compare with the bulb you recommend though
but according to ppl's comments on the item is that it really does the job well
have you tested it before?

post a pic of your car

Yes I wrote silverstone but meant silverstar. ( Must have had Sharron Stone on my mine). Sorry but these were a big disappointement for me, luckaly they didn't last very long and I had to replace them. They were no better no worst than the PIAA. To get white light from a filament you will need blue glass to filter yellow. Halogen put out whiter light but still yellow.
