You've just been joined by the "Far East" of Canada :D

Season's greetings from Paradise, Newfoundland/Labrador.

Just before Christmas (23rd) I made a deal on an 04 Lancer, for delivery on 04 Jan. This will be my first Mitsubshi.

It's used, former rental, with 12,700 kms. Appears to be somewhat of a mixed breed - has a lot of the LS features but no cruise control - may have been special purchase for the rental Company

Currently have an 02 Nissan Sentra GXE, with about 61k.

My second car was a '96 Toyota Corolla with only 60 k - I traded it on the Lancer.

Previously I had a Honda Accord. So, I'm making the rounds of the "imports". From what I've read thus far on the Net, the Lancer seems to be ok.

In surfing the Net for info. I found this forum and decided to join. I'm a member (active) of other forms and can't help but comment on the limited replies that are made to posts here. Guess folks don't have a lot to say -_-

As you may know, us "Newfies" are a friendly and chatty bunch, so I'll try to break the mold and encourage others to participate more and share their experiences / knowledge.

Cheers and later = Roger

Actually the insurance isnt bad thats why mitsubishi makes all there sports cars 4 door cause its cheaper on the insurance.

Ive never had a four door and always considered it a family car but I love it now I never realized how much of a pain in the ass it was to fold the seats forward to get the girls in the back.
lol

We have to get more of us together for cruises and such
