I have two problems with my Montero 97. First I CD player locked up, I can't enter the code to unlock, display reads OFF - how do you get this unlocked?

Second after two Mastercylinders later I still do not have any brakes, when the first was put on and the brakes didn't work, I was told the MC was defective, buy a new, I did, have that installed and still don't have any brakes, has anyone else experienced this problem?
