I recently acquired a 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero and I discovered that the digital thermometer display is only able to display the cabin temperature reading and not the outside one even after you have made the selection . Could this be an anomally?

I have a shogun sport and not quite sure where the gauge is. I do know it increases dramatically when I am stopped somewhere for a few minutes. I have had it showing over 23 degrees even when the temp shoyld have een around 10degrees max!!! I tend to ignore it now

sensor found in front of left front wheel, attached to the bumper by some ruber sleeve. Reading high when no air flow if sensor hangs loose ie not in ruber sleeve. Also high if it touches the metal when car is parked in full sun.
regards
Hennie.
